Profile data: your freelancer niche, experience level, contact info you choose to provide
Usage data: proposals generated, tones used, timestamps
Payment data: subscription tier and status — card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored by us
Job descriptions: content you paste into the generator to create proposals

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve the service
To personalise AI-generated proposals using your profile
To process payments via Stripe
To send account-related emails (verification, billing, support)
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. AI Processing

Job descriptions and profile data you submit are sent to OpenAI's API to generate proposals. OpenAI may process this data according to their own privacy policy. We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information in job descriptions you submit.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Stripe — payment processing
OpenAI — AI proposal generation
SendGrid — transactional emails

All third parties are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Proposals are stored to provide your history feature. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@authorbid.com.
